Description
The Akces-Med Cat 1 Standing Frame is a paediatric prone stander designed to help young children safely transition into an upright position. It supports children with a range of physical conditions, including cerebral palsy, spinal injuries and neuromuscular disorders.
The frame enables secure, gradual adjustment from a prone position to upright, with a tilt range of 25° to 85°. A gas spring mechanism allows carers to modify the angle easily and quietly, even while the child is in place.
To encourage correct posture and symmetry, the Cat 1 features sturdy, adjustable chest and pelvic supports along with a wide system of belts for added security. The footrests can also be adjusted for precise foot positioning.
The compact frame sits on four small castors for easy repositioning within a therapy or home environment. The use of breathable, hypoallergenic 3D spacer fabric helps keep the child comfortable for longer periods.
Made from eco-friendly materials and hand painted with a cheerful cat motif, the Cat 1 is designed with both function and child appeal in mind.
