The Sunrise Medical Quickie Nitrum Hybrid Manual Wheelchair is designed for those seeking a strong, rigid chair that doesn’t compromise on weight or performance. With a reinforced frame construction, it supports a higher safe working load of up to 136 kg, while retaining the signature lightweight, energy-efficient design of the Nitrum family.
The patented castor-link system is engineered from a single hollow-forged component, reducing weight while maintaining strength and control. Caster height and angle are fully adjustable to suit personal propulsion needs and fine-tune handling.
This model also includes innovations such as integrated LEDs with removable battery packs for added safety, tension-adjustable block-and-tackle seat upholstery, and the signature Freestyle Back to support upper-body movement during active use.
Transfer and transport are made easier thanks to raised lower tubes that reduce overall pack size. A compact, direct-mount brake is available to reduce weight and provide a secure, accessible locking system.
