Product Description

The Permobil TiLite Pilot Manual Wheelchair has a clean open frame designed to make adjustments easy, with clearly accessible bolts and intuitive controls for seating setup. The forward-growth design ensures seat width and depth expand without changing the child’s push mechanics – helping maintain efficient, natural propulsion as they grow.

Sized from 20.3 cm x 22.9 cm (8” x 9”) up to 35.6 cm x 38.1 cm (14” x 15”), the TiLite Pilot allows up to 5.1 cm (2”) of growth in seat width and 7.6 cm (3”) in seat depth. Ultra-light carbon fibre panels reduce weight by up to 50%, making it easier for kids to explore and for carers to transport.

The TiLite Pilot includes flexible setup options including adjustable and flip-back footplates, low or high wheel lock positions, and transit tie-downs. Footrest height can be set as low as 7.6 cm (3”) without additional mounting kits, offering more flexibility and postural control for younger children.

Who it’s for

  • For children who need a lightweight wheelchair with forward growth to support natural propulsion and independence.
  • For therapists seeking a paediatric chair with easy adjustment, growable seating and low rolling resistance.
