Product Description
The Alber E-Motion Power Assist replaces standard rear wheels with powered drive wheels that respond to push rim input. Highly sensitive sensors detect each push and deliver proportional motor assistance, making it easier to travel longer distances and manage slopes.
Because propulsion remains push rim-driven, the E-Motion supports continued upper limb activity while reducing repetitive strain. This makes it suitable for people wanting to preserve shoulder function and maintain physical conditioning without transitioning to a full power wheelchair.
Each wheel integrates the motor, electronics and lithium-ion battery within the hub, creating a compact and cable-free system. Components remove without tools for transport and storage.
An optional ECS (Ergonomic Control System) remote allows switching the system on and off from a seated position, selecting assistance levels and activating rollback delay to prevent the wheelchair rolling backwards on inclines.
The E-Motion Mobility App connects via Bluetooth, offering preset driving profiles, battery monitoring, trip recording and system diagnostics.
Who it’s for
- For clients who want to reduce shoulder strain while maintaining active propulsion.
