Product Description
The Sunrise Medical Empulse F55 – 8.5” Power Assist connects to compatible manual wheelchairs to provide powered front-wheel drive. Designed for in- and outdoor use, the 8.5” wheel supports a smaller turning circle and agile handling in tight environments such as shops, footpaths and public transport spaces.
A brushless motor and optimised traction assist with slopes up to 6°, while the adjustable mounting position allows fine-tuning of weight balance to support traction and control.
The 8.1 AH lithium-ion battery provides up to 25 km of range (manufacturer-stated) and includes an intelligent battery management system to support charging efficiency and battery longevity.
Docking is fast and secure. The flip-up sub-frame reduces pack size for transport and can be detached if required. Two independent braking systems provide controlled stopping performance.
An integrated display shows speed mode, trip distance, total distance, battery condition and power consumption. The handlebar position adjusts easily to support shoulder comfort and ergonomic positioning.
