Product Description
The Alber E-Motion DuoDrive Power Assist replaces standard rear wheels with powered drive wheels that respond to push rim input. Sensors detect each push and deliver proportional assistance, reducing the effort required to propel a manual wheelchair.
DuoDrive adds a second driving mode – Cruise Mode. Using the wireless control unit, cruise speed can be set without pushing on the push rims. The system maintains the selected speed on flat ground and downhill sections, allowing relaxed, continuous travel over longer distances.
Users can switch between push rim-activated assistance and Cruise Mode at any time, even while driving. Cruise Mode supports inclines up to 5.7°.
The control unit docks neatly onto the frame tube of the footrest and removes easily when required. As with the standard E-Motion, motors, electronics and lithium-ion batteries integrate into the wheel hubs for a compact, cable-free setup.
The E-Motion Mobility App connects via Bluetooth®, offering preset driving profiles, battery monitoring and trip recording. (Note: parallel use of the Mobility App and ECS Remote Control is only possible when the DuoDrive control unit is switched off.)
