Product Description
The Alber E-Pilot Power Assist connects to the front of a compatible manual wheelchair, converting it into a powered drive unit within seconds. Once docked, the throttle grip provides intuitive speed control for everyday travel, community access and outdoor environments.
A large 16” balloon pneumatic drive wheel improves stability and surface contact, helping manage uneven ground, gravel and small obstacles. The gearless direct drive motor operates quietly and requires minimal maintenance.
The integrated 36 V lithium-ion battery delivers a driving range of up to 50 km, depending on terrain, weight and settings. The battery pack removes easily for charging and locks securely into the frame.
Hydraulic disc brakes provide controlled stopping power, and traffic-approved lighting supports visibility. A detachable 2.4” colour display shows speed, battery capacity and trip data, with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone integration.
Optional upgrades, including the Mobility Plus Package, add features such as cruise control, navigation support and increased maximum speed (where permitted). A Tetra-Brake option supports people with reduced hand function.
The Alber E-Pilot Power Assist removes easily, allowing continued use of the manual wheelchair independently.
