Product Description
The Invacare TDX SP2 Powered Wheelchair is designed for people who require advanced powered mobility with extensive seating and positioning options. Its mid-wheel drive configuration delivers outstanding manoeuvrability in confined indoor environments while maintaining confident performance across a variety of outdoor surfaces.
Invacare’s patented SureStep suspension and Stability Lock technology work together to keep all six wheels in contact with the ground as the wheelchair travels over uneven terrain. This improves stability, traction and ride comfort while helping negotiate everyday obstacles more smoothly.
The TDX SP2 is equipped with the LiNX smart control system, including LiNX G-Trac technology, which helps the wheelchair maintain its intended driving direction with fewer steering corrections. Wireless programming and diagnostics allow clinicians and technicians to configure the wheelchair efficiently, while a range of specialist drive controls supports people with varying physical abilities. Available options include touchscreen remotes, attendant controls, head arrays, sip and puff controls and alternative joystick solutions.
The Ultra Low Maxx seating system supports complex postural management with up to 50° of powered tilt and 170° of recline. Its Extended Shear Reduction (ESR) mechanism helps minimise shear forces during recline, while the seating system is designed to maintain body alignment as seating positions change. Adjustable seat dimensions and a wide choice of backrests, armrests, headrests and positioning accessories allow the wheelchair to be configured to changing clinical needs.
Additional features such as powered centre mount legrests, optional seat elevation, integrated USB charging and LED lighting further enhance everyday functionality. Multiple colour options are also available to personalise the wheelchair.
