Simple Stuff Works Postural Care System

The Simple Stuff Works Postural Care System uses layered mesh, specialist toppers and a wide range of positioning supports to create a fully customised sleep setup.

The base system includes two layers of anti-microbial, non-slip mesh, a Temperate Topper and a soft, stretchy sheet. Supports sit securely between the mesh layers, allowing clinicians to create stable, repeatable positions without rigid moulding. The mesh is breathable, washable and silent, providing a practical and hygienic foundation for long-term use.

The Temperate Topper is filled with a high-performance fibre that wicks moisture away from the skin and allows air to circulate. It is machine washable to 90 °C and designed to maintain a neutral thermal environment. It does not actively warm or cool, which supports safety for those who have difficulty regulating body temperature.

A wide range of cushion shapes and positioning components are available, including stabilisers, wedges, lateral supports, leg supports, foot supports and multiple pillow styles. Each item comes in various sizes to suit adolescents and adults with differing body shapes and clinical presentations.

ILS trained Assistive Technology Professionals (ATPs) work collaboratively with therapists, families and clients to assess posture, tone, joint protection needs and pressure risks. Based on this assessment, we configure the most appropriate combination of supports to create a structured, comfortable and clinically effective overnight positioning plan.

The system supports symmetrical alignment, protects hips and pelvis in side lying, assists with leg abduction where required and helps maintain neutral foot positioning. Supports can be introduced progressively and adjusted over time as needs change.
