The Schuchmann Todd Stander is a manoeuvrable paediatric standing frame designed to promote physical development and enable independent exploration. It offers dynamic standing support for children who benefit from weight-bearing and upright positioning as part of their daily routine or therapy plan.
With large rear wheels and hand rims, the Todd enables children to self-propel while standing, encouraging active engagement with their environment. The rear wheel camber is adjustable to suit individual grip width needs.
To ensure a safe and effective standing position, the Todd includes multiple points of adjustment. The central column tilts from 0° to 15°, allowing a gradual shift between active and passive phases. The chest, pelvic, knee and foot supports are all adjustable in height, width and depth, ensuring a tailored fit that can adapt to the child’s growth over time.
Foot positioning is supported with a choice of flat or split footplates, both of which allow for height and depth adjustments. Heel edges and foot straps with magnetic fasteners add further security and positioning control.
Transfers are simplified with a swivelling buttock support pad and an abducting frame shape that offers open access. The therapy tray, made from clear Perspex, provides a functional surface for activities and interaction.
