Rifton Multistander

Description

The Rifton Multistander is a multi-position standing system that grows with children’s needs. It provides a supportive base for both prone and supine positioning, encouraging participation at eye level and promoting healthy development.

Its unique open-frame design, with 8-inch locking wheels and a rear castor for anti-tip stability, ensures easy manoeuvrability and smooth transfers. The stander offers height adjustment via gas spring or hand crank, depending on size, to help achieve the right position—either low to interact with peers or higher to engage in activities.

The Multistander’s fully adjustable design supports independent hip abduction up to 30 degrees per leg, as well as individual leg length, hip angle and knee angle adjustments (available on advanced legs in sizes 2 and 3) to accommodate contractures and leg length discrepancies.

Additional features include a padded body support with tilt adjustment (0° – 90°) for comfort and stability, as well as easily rotatable and adjustable sandals that allow 30° of dorsiflexion or plantarflexion. Supine features include a padded headrest, trunk laterals and knee straps for enhanced support. Prone features include a five-point pelvic harness for secure standing.
