With dozens of Walking Aids available for purchase or hire, we ensure you get the best fit for you. If you need time to rest while you’re out and about, then perhaps a seat walker is the best option. Seat walkers are great all-rounder walking aids that give you the flexibility to go anywhere independently. All of our seat walkers include a backrest as standard, and with outdoor models available you’ll be ready to hit the road.

If you’re after something a little more light-weight, just to get around the house and garden, then a regular walking frame will do the job. Walking frames, sometimes known as walkers, are available in a variety of models to suit different requirements.

Some walkers, such as the Ezywalker Forearm Walker Folding, are lightweight and able to be folded up for easy transportation. This makes them ideal to take on day trips and visits to family and friends. Other walkers are available with forearm rests and even compression brakes for longer journeys on foot. If you and your walker will regularly be tackling steep terrain (such as a menacing driveway), consider a model with compression brakes, like the Seat Walker with brakes.

Tip: walkers are sometimes referred to as walking frames; the two terms are interchangeable.

Walking Sticks

For a full-time or most-of-the-time walking stick user, a comfortable, sturdy stick is the best option. We offer many models of reliable walking sticks, so narrowing down your options will be a matter of personal preference and comfort. The best way to know which stick is right for you is to come into our Sydney showroom and take the sticks for a test drive (or rather, test walk).

Folding walking sticks are a convenient option if you only occasionally require a walking stick. The stick can be folded up into a small unit so that you can easily slip it into your handbag or stow it in the glove box. Folding walking sticks are great to take on day trips, road trips and visits to family and friends’ houses. Take a look at our Folding Walking Stick with T-Handle if you think a folding stick is the one for you.

The Tripod Seat Stick is a unique multipurpose stick giving independence to those who need to take a short break every once in a while. You can relax knowing that you won’t be caught out without a leg (or seat) to stand on.

Crutches

Crutches are available in two makes: forearm crutches and underarm crutches. For stability, and the peace of mind that comes with it, forearm crutches are the option. Sturdy and reliable, forearm crutches are great for everyday use. Underarm crutches are a strong yet lightweight alternative, and best used as temporary walking aids.
