Product Description

The Batec Scrambler 2 Power Assist connects securely to a compatible manual wheelchair, transforming it into a high-performance electric handbike built for adventure.

Equipped with a 1440 W rated motor (1620 W peak) and reverse gear, the Scrambler 2 maintains strong torque across varying speeds and challenging terrain. While the manufacturer states a maximum speed of 30 km/h, maximum listed speed is capped at 10 km/h in accordance with ILS guidelines.

Its 19” wheel with ultra-grip tyre supports traction across dirt roads, gravel, forest tracks and steep slopes. The anti-slip function improves control during acceleration and enhances grip on unstable or wet surfaces.

The 768 Wh lithium battery delivers up to 55 km manufacturer-stated range, depending on terrain and riding conditions.

Safety enhancements include Avid BB7 mechanical disc brakes, a Galfer 203 mm floating brake disc and an upgraded dual headlight system delivering 2000 lumens. A suspension stand frame improves stability and comfort on uneven terrain.

The aluminium frame adjusts in four directions to suit individual positioning needs. Handlebar configurations are available for those who are paraplegic, quadriplegic and hemiplegic, including gas & brake handlebars and monolever brake options.

The Scrambler 2 is not suitable for air travel due to battery capacity.
