Description
The Raz AT Mobile Shower Commode Chair tilts up to 40° using locking pneumatic springs that assist with returning the seat to upright. This makes tilt adjustment smoother and easier for attendants during transfers and hygiene routines.
The frame provides 10.2 cm (4”) of seat height adjustment without toilet bowl interference, allowing the chair to fit over most toilets. The polished stainless steel construction supports infection control and long-term durability.
The standard moulded seat is contoured for pressure reduction and pelvic stability. It is available in two sizes, with open or bridged front options, to suit individual needs. The soft integral-skin foam improves comfort while remaining easy to clean.
Raz’s Ischial and Pelvic Alignment System (IPAS) provides 5.1 cm (2”) of fore/aft adjustment to align the seat with the pelvis and centre the aperture. The seat locks securely for transfers and removes easily for cleaning. Optional spacers allow anterior or posterior seat angle adjustment.
The adjustable-tension back upholstery and flip-up padded armrests support comfort and access. The headrest adjusts forward and backward, vertically and angled to support optimal head positioning.
Adjustable footrests swing in and out, remove for transfers and adjust for leg length without tools.
The commode pan includes a lid for splash and odour control, a 45° angled handle for improved ergonomics, and receiver brackets visible from the rear to assist with positioning.
Dual-locking castors secure both roll and swivel functions during care tasks.
The chair can be configured for complex postural and hygiene needs with a wide variety of Raz accessories.
