Raz ART Mobile Shower Commode Chair

The Raz ART Mobile Shower Commode Chair uses a patented dual-arc, orbital tilt system to reduce tilt effort and maintain a compact footprint. The base frame is 12.7 cm (5″) shorter than the Raz AT, supporting easier manoeuvrability in smaller bathrooms.

The seat frame tilts up to 40° using locking pneumatic springs, assisting attendants when returning the chair to upright. The tilt-locking system eliminates cable looping, supporting smoother and more reliable operation.

The powder-coated aluminium base and seat frame provide corrosion resistance while reducing overall weight. The frame offers two tool-less seat-to-floor height ranges, allowing easy adjustment to suit individual toilet clearance and transfer requirements.

The standard moulded seat is contoured for pressure reduction and pelvic stability. It is available in two sizes, with open or bridged front options.

Raz’s Ischial and Pelvic Alignment System (IPAS) provides 5.1 cm (2”) of fore/aft adjustment, 2.5 cm (1”) lateral adjustment and 4.5° rotational adjustment to align the seat with the pelvis. The seat locks in place for transfers and removes for cleaning.

The included headrest adjusts forward and backward and vertically to ensure optimal positioning. Adjustable-tension back upholstery and flip-up padded armrests also support comfort and access.

Dual-locking castors secure both swivel and roll functions during care routines. The commode pan includes a lid and ergonomic angled handle for easier handling.

The Raz ART is compatible with standard Raz seats and most Raz accessories, allowing configuration for complex postural and hygiene needs.
