Product Description
The Küschall Champion Manual Wheelchair is designed for active individuals who want the performance of a rigid frame without sacrificing portability. Its unique folding mechanism creates a highly rigid structure when in use, while allowing the wheelchair to fold into a compact size for transport and storage.
Unlike traditional folding wheelchairs, the Champion uses an advanced hybrid frame with a single folding unit that maintains excellent driving characteristics while offering extensive adjustment. The folding unit provides nine centre of gravity positions, rear seat height adjustment and multiple mounting configurations to support individual clinical and functional requirements.
A hydroformed aluminium front frame increases frame stiffness while reducing weight. It also provides an ergonomic grip point that assists with transfers. Combined with the lightweight active brake, the Champion delivers responsive handling and confident braking without unnecessary weight.
For those who travel regularly, the Champion offers practical portability. The optional SK (Swiss Knife) folding mechanism allows the wheelchair to fold even smaller, making it easier to transport by car or store when not in use.
The Champion is available in a wide range of sizes and can be customised with a choice of frame colours and decal designs to create a wheelchair that reflects individual preferences. (Additional lead time may apply for some designs.)
