Description
The Permobil F5 Corpus VS Power Wheelchair is a high-performance mobility solution with integrated standing capability. It supports programmable transitions into supine, semi-recline or sit-to-stand positions, allowing greater independence and participation in daily life.
Power anti-tippers deploy automatically during standing to provide a secure and stable base. The drive system and suspension remain active while standing, delivering a smooth ride at all seat heights.
The redesigned swing-away knee supports are 75% lighter and shaped for comfort and precision. The integrated BOA® Fit System allows micro-adjustments, while the looped release mechanism enables easier independent use across varied hand function. On-chair storage along the seat rail keeps supports close when needed, but out of the way when not in use.
The Corpus® seating system features dual-density foam and a pelvic well insert to support pressure care and positioning. The new Stretch-Air cover is breathable and washable, improving comfort and hygiene over long-term use.
The anterior chest pad and knee blocks are fully adjustable to help maintain alignment during standing. With ActiveHeight and ActiveReach, the F5 VS also supports up to 35.6 cm (14”) of seat elevation and 45° forward tilt – with maintained drive speeds up to 5.1 km/h while elevated.
Therapists and equipment providers can program the chair using QuickConfig – a wireless tool designed for efficient setup of drive functions and standing sequences. The F5’s LED headlights, bold aesthetic and trim options offer customisation and visibility to support personal expression and daily safety.
