All round slings for everyday patient handling routines. The Invacare sling range has been designed to provide a safe, supportive and comfortable transfer for the client. The Comfort High sling is a hammock style sling, ideally suited to those with chronic pain. This sling is also useful for above-the-knee amputees. The Comfort High sling is made from a polyester mesh (also known as net fabric), the mesh option is ideally suited for bathing or showering environments. It has quick drainage and drying properties.
Description
Invacare slings have several features that enable you to position patients easily, including:
- Handles: Carefully positioned handles assist with positioning the patient correctly.
- Two Centre Line Markers: Indicate where the spine should be aligned for ultimate support.
- 3 Coloured Loops: Coloured loops facilitate the selection for the right position.
- Positioning Pocket: Supports the slide between user and backrest while in a sitting position.
- Supports the whole body, including the head.
- Suitable for those with limited control of the head, trunk, and hips.
- Included well-positioned handles.
- Max washing temperature: 90° C.
- Fabric is a polyester, which is a strong material that is hard-wearing and easy to apply. It slides smoothly into place and dries quickly after washing.
