Product Description

Engineered for higher-capacity performance, the Quantum 1450 Power Wheelchair combines robust strength with responsive control. Its front-wheel drive layout keeps drive wheels under the user’s centre of gravity, offering better traction and control – especially on inclines and rough surfaces. Indoors, its 67.3 cm (26.5”) turning radius helps navigate tighter spaces than most comparable bariatric models.

The Quantum 1450 accepts a full suite of rehab seating options, including TRU-Balance® HD power tilt, as well as standard Captain seating. Optional electronics, such as Q-Logic 3 controls, expand functionality, while add-ons like the backup camera and lighting improve safety and visibility.

Who it’s for

  • For clients who require a bariatric power wheelchair with excellent stability and the ability to navigate both indoor spaces and varied outdoor terrain.
  • For therapists supporting clients with complex seating and positioning needs, where compatibility with rehab seating systems, electronics and optional power tilt is essential for long-term postural support and independence.
