Overview:

One Way Drinking Straws feature a valve that holds fluid between sips, reducing oral effort and helping prevent choking. They support safer hydration for people with reduced oral strength or swallowing difficulties.

Description

One-Way Drinking Straws are adaptive drinking aids designed for people who struggle with thin liquid sipping due to dysphagia, respiratory issues or weak oral muscles. The integrated one-way valve keeps liquid in the straw after each sip, reducing the effort needed to draw fluid back up.

This design helps reduce air ingestion and coughing, making drinking safer and more comfortable. An adjustable clip secures the straw to the cup or glass, offering additional stability during use.

Each pack includes a 17.5 cm and a 25.4 cm straw to suit different drinkware. Made from dishwasher-safe plastic (up to 70°C), they are reusable, hygienic and easy to clean. Remove the clip before washing.
