Gold Coast- Supporting Pediatric Posture: Putting Theory into Practice
The aim of this session is to provide children with the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in a supportive environment! 3 CPD points
Postural support equipment is prescribed across Australia on a daily basis, providing children with the opportunity to learn, grow and develop in a supportive environment that is tailored to their needs. The process of trialing this equipment and justifying its funding is just the start of the journey for the child and their family/caregivers. The need for education, support and regular review is just as important for successful postural care intervention. Commonly the review will involve key adjustments, not only ensuring that the size of the equipment is right but that the support being provided is appropriate to the level of need of the user.
