ILS Charity Partnership Program
“ When we walk a mile in the moccasins of a less fortunate soul, our lives become instantly enriched. ”
Through the Independent Living Specialists (ILS) Charity Partnership Program, ILS support a different charity every quarter throughout each year. This offers all their employees the opportunity to use their paid days off to participate in a fundraising activity with the ILS’s chosen charity of the Quarter and all proceeds will be donated to the charity.
Volunteering offers vital help to people in need, worthwhile causes and the community.
ILS believes that the benefits can be even greater for the volunteer. Volunteering and helping others can help reduce stress, combat depression, keep our employees mentally stimulated, providing a sense of purpose. The act of giving not only helps the recipient but also is known to improve the health and happiness of the giver.
Through the ILS Charity Partnership Program, ILS is very proud to have raised more than $10,194 for 4 different charities in the year 2018. These charities includes : Ozharvest, Youth off the street, Cerebral Palsy Alliance and Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation.
In the year 2019, ILS continues their support to raise funds and awareness for the above charities. ILS would like to take this opportunity to thank all their wonderful customers for the support and generosity they have shown previously.
ILS will continue to raise funds for the above-mentioned charities in the same way as it did for Cerabral Palsy Alliance and would like to thank all their wonderful customers for the support they have already shown this year.
A little help goes a long way.
