Morning Session: ALL THINGS SEATING ASSESSMENT AND SEATING SOLUTIONS

• OT assessment and information gathering for seating and mobility equipment
• Learn and practice MAT evaluation skills
• Translate the assessment findings into product parameters and equipment set-up matching product to individuals needs
• Develop clinical documentation and justification skills for successful applications

Afternoon Session: ALL THINGS MOBILITY ASSESSMENT AND SOLUTIONS

• Differentiate models of manual wheelchairs, their features, benefits and key adjustments that affect seated posture and functional mobility – hands-on lab
• Learn to assess and differentiate between power assist for manual wheelchairs and how to match your client to the product options
• Power wheelchair drive configurations with consideration to the person’s body, weight distribution, environmental navigation and function
• Power Seating and Standing for pressure and function
• Understanding Vehicle Modification Assessment

All sessions will contribute to CPD points. Seats are limited.
