Wheelchair and Seating Assessment Clinic – Ballina

ILS Rehab in partnership with Cerebral Palsy Alliance is hosting a series of Wheelchair and Seating Clinics around the state. Our clinics will be run in regional areas to ensure equitable access of assistive technology equipment regardless of where you live.

Our clinics will be facilitated by an expert team of occupational therapists and/or wheelchair and seating consultants, who will assist you through the assessment and prescription process to ensure optimal functional outcomes are achieved. You can attend these clinics by yourself, with your family members and/or carers, or with your treating therapist. Your first assessment at our Wheelchair and Seating Clinic is free of charge.

Who will I meet? Ross Duncan – Wheelchair and Seating Specialist

As a wheelchair and seating consultant, I access a diverse range of mobility and seating products to find functional solutions for individuals living with a medical condition and/or disability. I facilitate choice and comprehensive assessment to ensure a collaborative decision is made regarding a client’s mobility needs.

I enjoy building rapport with client’s, their families and carers, and treating therapists.
I have a background in nursing (9 years) and have good understanding of daily challenges faced by individuals with a medical condition and/or disability.
